Visit the Biggest Pioneer Village in the Southern Hemisphere
Old Tailem Town was first established in 1982 with the doors opening to the public in 1987. Since then, Old Tailem Town has now become Australia's largest pioneer village, visited by tourists all over the world.
Come for an hour or a day, and see what life was like for the settlers of South Australia from 1860 - 1960. There are over a hundred and ten buildings for you to visit, all furnished within their periods and set in their most natural locations.
So come up and spend a day wandering around the village and teach the kids what life was like all those years ago!
Opening times:
9 a.m. until 4 p.m. - 7 days a week (not open Christmas Day)
We are PET FRIENDLY! We ask you to please bring your poop bags for clean up and have your pet on a leash.
Please note, animals are not allowed on the night tours for safety reasons.

Groups of 15 and over - $25 pp
